Two interesting games on Friday night:
Regionalliga Süd:
Elversberg - Frankfurt: Elversberg to win @ 1.6 (BIG PLAY)
Frankfurt is already relegated. Team has already given up. They had 5 losses and 2 draw in last 7 games and did not have one single win in last 15 games.
Elversberg on the other hand is on the edge of relegation zone and is playing really quite succesful football the last 5 or 6 weeks.they got some unexpected points against some top teams and play especially strong at home. This team knows it'S situation and is really fighting for every point right now. They cannot afford to give away points against lowly and unmotivated Frankfurt.
Home win by minimum of 2 goals.
Regionalliga Nord:
Essen- Osnabrück: Essen to win at 2.2 (small play)
just to give you an idea what is going on here in Essen right now: This is the top game of all top games in regionlliga 2nd meets 1st.
Already since one week it is not possible to get any tickets for this match 25000 people are expected for a 3rd league game. 5000 of them are comeing from osnabrück following their team.
Essen is unbeaten in last 7 games and all comments by players and coach are very confident.especially with home crowd support (as you know from my last week's pick, already 10000 travelled to the easy 3-0 away last week).
at home they should take their chance to grap the 1st position against (IMO) the other top contender for promotion. If osnabrück is beatable, then in away games. Last away game they lost to lowly Münster, but overall they are also on a good run with 5 wins in last 6 games.
What is me making more confident about the home win is osnabrück's situation. if they win they are 90 % sure promoted, but coach is saying that everything will be decided on last day.after getting a big win over 3rd place wattenscheid last week (and this is the most important: to get distance to 3rd place) i see a little let down of osnabrück in this away game.
Overall not a big play but there will be an Essen win with possible draw chances.
BOL and see you for Bundesliga Saturday
